Brooke Brummer

Born and raised in rural Mitchell County Kansas, Brooke’s career has centered around agriculture from the beginning. She graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2003 with a Business Finance Degree and began in the insurance industry as an agent for Central National Bank in rural Kansas. She later managed the Central Insurance Agency for Central National Bank for 7 years before becoming a business owner of Hometown Insurance Agency. Brooke continues to reside, along with her husband and 4 kids, on their generational farm outside of Tipton, KS and focuses heavily on the agricultural insurance needs of her community. She is heavily involved in supporting the school system within her community as she has served on the school boards and participates in their fundraising efforts.
Paul Osborne

Paul was licensed in 1983. He focuses on agriculture insurance including crop insurance. A lifelong member of Jewell county, Paul is a former school teacher, and currently is actively engaged in farming along with his insurance career. Over the course of his career he has sat on numerous boards dedicating his time to improving his rural community. Paul has two grown sons and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
Sarah Schmidt

Sarah has been a licensed crop insurance agent since January 2010. She and her husband, Jim, farm with her family in the Junction City area. They have four kids that are involved in Geary County 4-H; Junction City FFA; and various sports and other activities. Sarah serves on the Geary County Soil Conservation District Board of Supervisors as Chairperson; Geary County Farm Bureau Association Board; Geary County Ag Day Committee; and as a Geary County 4-H Volunteer.
Lisa Shivers

Lisa grew up on a farm south of Tipton, then attended Kansas State University and graduated with an Animal Science degree in 2002. She moved back to Tipton in 2008 when her husband purchased the service station. Lisa was an agent with Central Insurance Agency for 10 years prior to her joining Hometown Insurance agency in 2020. She has concentrated on crop insurance, farm, home and auto products, but can also assist with your commercial needs. Lisa lives in Tipton with her husband and two girls that keep her busy. She also keeps active with doing the bookwork for their business, Tipton Service Center, and volunteering for various school and parish fundraisers.
